Fire Craft*
Fire craft is an art and a vital survival skill. You’ll learn to create fire using various methods, even in challenging conditions, different fire lays, and what it takes to create and sustain fire. With hands-on practice, you’ll gain confidence and clarity. Imagine warmth, cooking, and safety at your fingertips. Join us to ignite your survival journey!

Shelter Building
Shelter Building equips you with essential skills to create safe havens in the wild. You’ll learn how to find materials and construct shelters, including the clothes you wear, that protect you from the elements. With practical exercises, you’ll feel empowered to face any situation. Build your confidence and comfort in the outdoors with us!
Time: 8 hours (0900-1700) Cost: $120

Navigation Skills
Navigation Skills will guide you through the basics of finding your way in the great outdoors. You’ll learn to make and read maps, use a compass, understand natural landmarks and topography. With hands-on practice, you’ll boost your confidence in exploring new paths. Navigate with ease and discover the beauty of nature like never before!

Confident Kids
Kids love to explore with a natural confidence, often oblivious to the dangers. We encourage them to develop this confidence while becoming aware enough to know if they have strayed off the trail! Confident Kids is a ‘sampler course’ intended to spark your child’s curiosity while establishing safe exploration rules, development of rope and knife skills, basic fire and shelter building, plus an introduction to compass navigation. Kids ages 8-14 are welcome and each must have a parent/guardian with them for the day.
Time: 7 hours (0930-1630) Cost: $100
Training days are typically offered on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.
Group size is limited to 5-8 participants.
Personalized training for individuals or private groups is available.
